My approach

Practical, evidence-based, and always adapted to the person in front of me.

Every person has a unique story, circumstances, and needs, which is why I tailor therapy to the individual and their presenting concerns. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, my goal is to deeply understand your experience and provide you with the necessary strategies to make meaningful change.

My work is practical and grounded in evidence-based practice. Rather than following one model, I integrate different approaches in a way that fits your goals, strengths, and preferences — staying attuned to your progress along the way, and adjusting course whenever it's needed.

Working with children and teens

When working with children and teens, I believe that creating a strong therapeutic relationship is an important foundation for therapy. I strive to make therapy a space where young people feel safe, respected, and understood, while helping them develop the emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence to navigate challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, OCD, trauma, emotional regulation, self-esteem, or difficulties at home or school. Whenever appropriate, I work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure that the strategies we develop together can be supported and generalized beyond therapy.

Working with parents and caregivers

With parents and caregivers, the focus is often placed on understanding your child's behaviour in a new way, so that together we can develop a deeper insight into their inner world, strengthen the parent-child relationship, build confidence in your parenting approach, and develop practical strategies that support the whole family. Parents often tell me they feel less alone in the challenges they face, and more equipped to respond to them with clarity and compassion.

Identity, belonging and life transitions

Because I have lived and worked across cultures, I'm particularly mindful of the ways identity, belonging, and life transitions influence mental health. Whether you're adjusting to a new stage of life, balancing different cultural identities, navigating changes in your family, or redefining your sense of self, therapy can provide a space to reflect, grow, and move forward with greater confidence.

Above all, I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important ingredients in therapy. My hope is that you will leave each session feeling heard, challenged in thoughtful ways, and supported as you, your child, or your family work toward the life you want to build.
