With a strong inherent passion to support others, from a young age I started working with my community in Barcelona, Spain. So, when the time came to choose a career, psychology was the clear choice to continue making an impact in others' lives. I started working with children, teens, adults, and parents in hospitals, community mental health services, and private practice before continuing my professional journey in Canada.
During my time in Toronto, I founded Kindercare Psychology, a multidisciplinary psychology clinic, where I served as Clinical Director, supporting clients while mentoring and supervising clinicians as the practice grew. It was an incredibly rewarding chapter of my career which gave me valuable experience as both a clinician and a leader.
As meaningful as that work was, I realized that what I value most is the opportunity to build strong therapeutic relationships and accompany clients through their individual journeys. That realization led me to establish my own practice, where I can devote my full attention to providing evidence-based therapy in a way that reflects my values and approach to the therapeutic relationship.
Throughout the years, I have developed a particular interest in helping individuals of all ages navigate anxiety, ADHD, OCD, trauma, low mood, relationship difficulties and life transitions, while also supporting parents as they build stronger, more connected relationships with their children. I believe that when parents feel understood, supported, and more confident in their parenting, this can have a positive impact on the whole family. And because all families are not built the same way, I also enjoy working with blended families, single parents, and parents navigating separation, remarriage, and other significant family transitions. These experiences often bring unique challenges, but I have found time and time again that they can also create opportunities for growth, resilience, and stronger relationships.
Beyond family work, having lived and worked in different countries, and speaking English and Spanish myself, has given me a deep appreciation for how our families, cultures, relationships, and life experiences shape the way we see ourselves and connect with others. Because of this, I often find myself working with individuals of all ages who are navigating questions of identity, belonging, and change, whether those changes are personal, relational, or cultural.
